Thank You for joining us in 2021!

Wednesday, September 15, 2021

Thank you for choosing Melody Pines in the Summer of 2021!   We are truly thankful for the amazing staff, campers, and families who made for a wonderful summer. After a challenging year for so many children and families, we were thankful to be able to once again join together with friends, play outdoors in the sun (and the rain), and create lasting memories.  Whether your children were with us for 1 week, 10 weeks, or something in between, we hope they enjoyed their time here with us.  We know we enjoyed having them!

Please mark your calendars.  Registration for the Summer of 2022 will begin on Monday, Feb. 7th at 6:00am for returning families.  As always, we do expect sessions to fill up quickly.

Please note that you can access your account information and tax statements at any time by logging into your account at https://melodypines.campbrainregistration.com/  If you have any questions, please let us know!

Again, we thank you for sharing the Summer of 2021 with us at Melody Pines.  We hope you have a wonderful school year and look forward to seeing you again soon!

Thank You,

Free Choice Time!!!

June 2021

Saturday, June 26, 2021

We are happy to announce that starting Monday, June 28th, we will be reinstituting our afternoon Free Choice time program for all campers!  As of Friday, The State of NH announced only 13 new cases of COVID-19 for an average of 20 cases per day over the most recent 7 day period.  In addition, our campers and staff have been doing an amazing job hand washing, hand sanitizing, and social distancing.

The remainder of our daily program, including mask wearing during early drop off (7-8:00am) and late pick-up (4:30-5:30pm), will remain the same as will our additional cleaning and sanitizing procedures.

Thank You,

Steve and Erika

Drop Off and Pick Up

June 2021

Wednesday, June 23, 2021

Camp is off to a great start!  Despite the rain, our campers and staff are having a great time.  We love seeing all the smiles and hearing laughter on the lake again.  We are, however, requesting your support with drop off and pick up and ask that you carefully read the following:

Drop Off - Drop off takes place from 7:00am - 9:00am.  Drop off from 7:00am - 8:00am is reserved for parents who must get to work early.  Children who arrive prior to 8:00am will be required to wear masks as they may mix with children from different cohort groups.

Late Drop Offs - Late drop offs, after 9:00am are strongly discouraged.  If you arrive at the Loop after 9:00am, please call the office at 669-9414.  Due to COVID-19, parents and other visitors may not enter the camp property.

Pick Up - Pick up takes place from 3:30pm- 5:30pm.  Please note that 3:30 is a very popular pick up time and the line may be long.  Pick up from 4:30pm - 5:30pm is reserved for parents who must work late.  Children who remain at camp after 4:30pm will be required to wear masks as they may mix with children from different cohort groups.

Early Pick Ups - Early pick ups (before 3:30pm) are strongly discouraged as they require us to pull staff from their regular duties.   If you absolutely must pick up your child before 3:30 for a doctor's appointment or other important event, you must schedule your pickup in advance for one of the following times:  11:30, 12:30, 1:30, or 2:30.

Thank you in advance for your help and understanding!

Summer 2021 - Update #3

June 2021

Monday, June 7, 2021

We have one more update for you as we approach our opening day!  Please read carefully and let us know if you have any questions.  We look forward to seeing you soon!

Lunches:   Camper lunches will be stored with their backpacks in their locker rooms.  Please include an ice pack or frozen water bottle in your child’s lunch every day and consider excluding items that may spoil easily.

Water Bottles:   Drinking fountains will not be in use this summer.  We ask that all campers bring a reusable water bottle that is clearly labeled.   There are sinks available in which to refill them.

Snacks:   All groups will take a morning snack break.  Campers can either pack their own snacks or bring money for the Snack Shack.  Snacks range in price from 25 cents - 75 cents.  We will provide our traditional afternoon popsicle break known as Canteen!

Rainy Days: On rainy days, we ask that you send your child with appropriate rain gear. In order to avoid having campers congregate in enclosed areas, campers will be staying outdoors. In the case of thunder, they will be brought under cover and asked to wear their masks.

Cleaning and Sanitizing:  Frequently touched surfaces such as door handles and sinks will be cleaned and sanitized throughout the camp day. Campers will be asked to wash their hands or use hand sanitizer upon arrival and between activities.  Camp equipment will also be sanitized between group activities.

Again, we thank you in advance for your help and understanding this summer and look forward to seeing you all soon!

Thank You,

Steve and Erika

Summer 2021 - Update #2

June 2021

Tuesday, June 1, 2021

As promised, we are sending you our second update on our protocols for the Summer of 2021!  We have been closely following all recommendations from both the State of NH and the CDC in regards to mask wearing and cohorting.  These recommendations have been changing rapidly over the past few weeks and we expect that they will continue to change over the next couple of weeks/months.  As such, our protocols are very likely to change over the course of this summer.

Masks - As of today, June 1st, all campers will be required to bring a labeled mask to camp.  We highly recommend having your child keep his/her mask attached to a lanyard around their neck so that it stays clean and does not get lost.

Campers dropped off during the early block from 7:00 - 8:00pm or who remain at camp during the late block from 4:30 - 5:30pm, when campers from different cohorts may be mixed, will be required to wear a mask during those times.  Campers will also be required to wear masks while indoors, such as in the craft shop.  When campers are spread out outdoors with their own cohort groups, masks will be optional.  If you believe your child should or would be most comfortable wearing a mask at all times, they are welcome to do so.

Cohort Groups -   Campers have been divided into cohort groups of approximately 20 campers or less based on gender and grade level.  Campers will remain in these cohorts throughout the camp day and will move through all play areas on a rotation.    This includes Swimming (lessons and free swim), Gaga, the Gym, etc.  If COVID cases continue to drop in NH, it is our hope that we will be able to move to our regular free choice afternoon as the summer progresses.  We will keep you posted!

Again, we thank you in advance for your help and understanding this summer and look forward to seeing you all soon!

Thank You,

Steve and Erika
